In an attempt to properly light a fish, I put a rock into the middle of its tank. The rock is shaped like a deflated football, and has been eroded with respect only to rotations around its vertical axis. The fish begins to swim rapidly around the rock, and I try to keep up with it, tracking it with my spotlight. The fish starts swimming so fast that it loses control. First it chips its lip on a corner of the rock, and ultimately it just flies right out of the tank. I lose it.
Soon afterward, a weird monster appears. It looks like two spiders spiraling around each other, like slugs in coitus, and their thread is the thick blacked coiled plastic of my Sennheiser headphones.
