Brainstorm

Rating: Bad.

Interesting. I almost commented at the end that the SFX were very Space Odyssey 2001. Turns out this movie was directed by the guy who invented that special effect. And he quit the movie because one of his lead actresses died suspiciously while out with his lead actor. Which is freaky because the last sequence, the one with these SFX, is of the character played by this lead actor glimpsing heaven while being called back to life by the character played by this lead actress.

Brainstorm is boring, nonsensical, and unimpressive. It contains mostly lame scenes, and occasionally a bad one. What’s up with that laughing robot, are you fucking kidding me?

I guess it was kind of terrifyingly 80’s.
