n. sarcasm about sarcasm; use of ironic tone when a statement is obviously enough meant not ironically so as to underline the strength of the feelings expressed given that obviousness of their earnestness. “Oh well this is just great,” Marie said upon discovering a $20 bill in her dresser drawer.
