Scanners

Rating: Good.

I forgot how recognizable Patrick McGoohan was in this. He’s downright straight outta Prisoner here, down to dropping the last consonant clusters of his words. He even picks up the phone and says “Ye…” haha. What is up with his final scene though, just turning into a blathering moron and wandering into an empty room to get… spoilered?

Classic Cronenberg.

The actor who plays Vale is freakishly non-professional seeming. Such alien acting.

Unfortunate that the one female character plays almost no role in the climactic confrontation.

I would like to ponder why they inject Ephemerol into their hands of all places. The sound of Ephemerol reminds me of my fictional drug, Aphenomen.
