Film Micrœview #315: Under the Sun (2015)

Rating: Good.

A film theoretical treat, with layers of truth and fiction, script and off-script. And a bold, noble feat of bravery to attempt it. The horror of immersion in this society is made palpable, even while many of the sequences are gorgeously cinematic. I had much to research after viewing, about both the film and the national history, which might have fit alright in the film itself.
