Film Micrœview #514: Where is the Friend’s Home?

Rating: Good.

I love how Kiarostami’s work is poetic without being abstract.

I watched this after seeing five of his early short films, which share many of the same themes and motifs.

The rhythmic repetition of spaces reminds me of Ozu, while some of the spatial comedy reminds me of Tati.
