Wordplay

I have an addiction to writing English tongue twisters, as well as sound poetry in purely phonetic speech. Before tackling the pronunciation of any of the latter, you should review this blog entry which explains my phonemic transcription system.

I’ve also written some pieces using a concept I developed called “phonetic inversion,” and it would behoove you to read this blog entry before giving them a shot.

I like coming up with silly words, and at a certain point I realized that I’d come up with enough of them to justify publishing a Thebridged Dougtionary. The vast majority of its entries are portmanteaus, as is the word Dougtionary itself. Sadly, I have never yet managed to come up with a word that starts with Z, but I hope to do so someday. Check out Thebridged Dougtionary here.
